He has held entrepreneurial positions in several start-up ventures and senior scientist positions with focus in electro-optics.|

Has vast experience in the solar industry, was representing (in Israel) the Chinese corporation Singyes , a world leading solar BIPV manufacturer, as well as CSG, the largest glass manufacturer in Asia. Illan was in charge of an installation project of more than 6 megawatt in Greece and is presently promoting solar projects in Cambodia and in Myanmar.|
